Choosing & sourcing stone
Choosing stone coasters
Compare shape, material, surface care and the details that help a coaster fit your space.

Start with the surface you want
Agate offers individual banding and irregular outlines. Round rose quartz offers a more consistent silhouette with pink internal texture. Green marble and beige travertine bring different veining and surface character. Compare the actual product description and photographs rather than expecting every stone to match.
Check the usable size and what is included
Measure your mug or glass base against the listed dimensions. An irregular stone’s longest dimension is not the same as its usable flat area. Check the SKU for piece count, holder and protective bumper details; these vary between products.
Keep everyday care simple
Lift a glass before moving the coaster and wipe up spills promptly. Use a soft cloth and follow the product’s care instructions. Avoid acidic cleaners on marble and travertine; do not put stone coasters in a dishwasher. A stone coaster is not a guarantee against condensation, staining or surface damage.
