Know your material
Tiger’s eye is a quartz material known for chatoyancy, a reflective effect associated with its aligned fibrous structure. The bright band changes with the direction of light and the viewing angle.
The look of the stone
Honey-gold, brown and darker bands can be visible on a polished face. Direct light may make the moving reflection clearer than a softly lit photograph.
Every piece has its own character.
The strength, width and direction of the reflective band vary. Small tumbled pieces may show only part of the effect because their surfaces have different orientations.
Color, finish & treatment
Use the product’s own description for color and treatment information. A general material reference does not establish the treatment or origin of a particular pack.
Everyday care
A little care goes a long way.
Wipe with a soft cloth and dry after gentle cleaning. Store polished pieces separately from abrasive tools and avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces.
