amethyst clusters

Know your material

Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz. A natural cluster keeps a crystalline surface, while a cut and polished point is a shaped product form rather than a promise of an untouched natural crystal.

The look of the stone

Purple ranges from pale lavender to deeper areas. Cluster surfaces reflect light from many small crystal faces; polished pieces give a smoother view into the stone.

Every piece has its own character.

Color zoning, inclusions, crystal arrangement and matrix coverage differ. Cluster photos illustrate the form; the weight range and quantity are defined by the SKU.

Color, finish & treatment

Color treatment cannot be established from a photograph. Ask about treatment details for an order if these are important to your use. Mixed amethyst and citrine packs do not mean every piece is naturally occurring ametrine.

Everyday care

A little care goes a long way.

Handle clusters by their base and avoid pressure on crystal tips. For polished pieces, use a soft cloth and gentle cleaning, then dry. Avoid steam, abrupt temperature changes and prolonged intense light.
